Automatic Street Light
In this project we are going to make an Automatic Street Light is very Highly intelligence System as it provides intelligent lighting mechanism. It provides light automatically during night without any human interface. these energy saving street lights make use of incandescent lamps instead of Led’s .So here I will teach you how to make an electronic circuit for street light or night lamp automation. The heart of this circuit is a LDR (Light Depended Resistor) LDR is a component that has a (variable) resistance that changes with the light intensity that falls upon it. This allows them to be used in light sensing circuits.
The most obvious application for an LDR is to automatically turn on a light at a certain light level. In this project we use LDR, BC547 TRANSISTOR,LED.
Needs no manual operation for switching ON and OFF. When there is a need of light it automatically switches ON. When darkness rises to a certain level then sensor circuit gets activated and switches ON and when there is other source of light i.e. daytime, the street light gets OFF.

- 1 X 220 OHM RESISTOR

What is LDR(Light Dependent Resistor)
An LDR is a component that has a (variable) resistance that changes with the light intensity that falls upon it. This allows them to be used in light sensing circuits.
The most obvious application for an LDR is to automatically turn on a light at a certain light level. An example of this could be a street light.
Quick introduction of BC547
BC547 is an NPN Bi-polar junction transistor (BJT) . A transistor, stands for transfer of resistance, is commonly used to amplify current. A small current at its base controls a larger current at collector & emitter terminals.
It has 3 terminal emitter, collector, base

In this step we are going to place the component in breadboard
Firstly we are going to place BC547 and connect 9v battery to bread board just like shown in picture.
Connect led +ve terminal to the collector and negative terminal to negative of battery.
Just like this
Connect a 220 ohm resistors one end to collector side and other end to positive of battery.
Connect 10k ohm resistor’s one end to base and connect other end to
LDR and connect the other end of LDR to positive of the battery.
Now this is the final step connect 100k ohm resistor’s one end to emitter
Of the BC547 and connect other end to LDR and 10k resistor and also connect emitter of BC547 to negative of the battery with the help of a wire.
This is the final assembly look like This.
Now your Project is Ready as you will provide the power supply to the bread board it will start working.
as this Automatic Night Lamp Project, so it will glow the light in the Dark Night and automatically turn off the light on the day light.
